Delete your account

You can delete your Travelist account and personal data at any time — either yourself in the app, or by asking us. Travelist is operated by AGBO Ventures Ltd (trading as Travelist); how we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Option 1 · In the app

Delete it yourself

  1. Open the Travelist app and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Type DELETE in the box to confirm.
  4. Tap Delete permanently.

Your account and personal data are removed straight away and you’re signed out. This can’t be undone.

Option 2 · By email

Ask us to delete it

If you can’t access the app, email us at hey@agboventures.com from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we’ll complete the deletion within 30 days — usually much sooner.

Before you delete:settle any outstanding payments or shared trip costs first. Once your account is gone we can’t recover it or anything in it.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your personal data from Travelist, including:

  • your profile and account details;
  • groups you created, your group memberships, and the messages you sent;
  • your saved destinations, shortlists, votes, and trip preferences;
  • your traveller and passport details; and
  • your notification and push settings.

What we keep, and why

We keep a limited amount of data where the law requires it — for example, records of bookings and payments that we need for accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes. Where those records involved other travellers, we remove or anonymise the details that identify you. We hold this data only for as long as we’re required to, and then delete it.
